From the home screen, tap your upcoming trip to open its full guide — itinerary, events, entertainment, and destination info. You can browse trip guides whether or not you are signed in.
No, you can browse trip guides without one. But a free account lets you save your plans, trips and schedule and sync them across all your devices, and it unlocks the friends feature. You can sign up with email, phone, or your Apple or Google account.
Yes. Your saved content syncs whenever you are online and is cached on your device for offline viewing, so you can pull up your itinerary, events and trip details even with no signal — handy at sea. Anything that needs the internet (like opening an external link) will be there again once you reconnect.
Marketing email is opt-in — you only get it if you chose to when you signed up. You can change your preference anytime in Settings under Privacy, or unsubscribe from the link in any email. Turning it off does not affect service messages like trip updates.
Open Settings and choose to delete your account, or email us at steven@kgaytravel.com. Deleting your account removes your profile and saved content, removes your friend connections and push registrations, and unsubscribes you from marketing email.
Open Settings and adjust your preferences for temperature (Fahrenheit or Celsius) and time format (12-hour or 24-hour). Your choices apply across the app.
If you turn them on, we use them for trip updates and friend-add alerts. You can turn notifications on or off anytime in your device settings, and manage related preferences in the app's Settings.
The friends feature lets you connect with other travelers so you can coordinate. You share a friend code — a short XXXX-XXXX code or a QR code — and when someone redeems it you are connected. Friends can see the trips and events you have saved, unless you turn off "show my plans to friends" in Settings under Privacy. Friends see your display name and avatar, not your sign-in details.
Most trips are operated by third-party companies — cruise lines, resorts and charter operators such as Atlantis Events, VACAYA, Brand g Vacations, Out Adventures, RSVP and Source Journeys. KGAY Travel is your independent travel agent for those trips. A few trips are KGAY-operated and are labeled as such. See the Disclaimer for more.
Both come to the same place, but it helps to know the difference. Booking, pricing, payments, cancellations and refunds are handled with Steven and, for the trip itself, the operator running it — their policies govern those. Questions about the mobile app — saving plans, friends, notifications, offline use — we handle directly. Either way, email or call and we will point you the right way.
First, make sure you are running the latest version from the App Store or Google Play, then fully close and reopen the app. If you are signed in, your saved content is safe and will sync back when you reconnect. Open the My Plans area of the app. Anything you have saved — trips, events, attractions and venues — lives there, synced across your devices when you are signed in.
